Featured LED & Energy Efficient Lighting

LED lighting is fast replacing old, inefficient incandescents and CFLs. LEDs provide a new technology that delivers light using a fraction of the energy and virtually zero environmental impact. LEDs does look more natural than CFLs and match the warmth of incandescents in warm or cool lighting tones for your home or office. Aiken Lighting has a large selection of LED and energy efficient lighting solutions on display from a vast array of manufacturers. Tips LED Lighting Tips

A Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a semiconductor device which converts electricity into light. LEDs are small in size, but can be grouped together for higher intensity applications.

LEDs are better at placing light in a single direction than incandescent or fluorescent bulbs. LED strip lights can be installed under counters, in hallways, and in staircases.

LEDs last considerably longer than incandescent or fluorescent lighting. LEDs don't typically burn out like traditional lighting, but rather gradually decrease in light output.
